What do the buttons on my screen do?

Here is a breakdown of the buttons/functions you will see while proctoring:
UNLOCK: Use when a student is ready to begin.
- Find the student in the table
- Click Unlock
- The status changes to Unlocked
RESUME: Use when a student's test has closed for whatever reason and they need to re-enter the exam session.
Examples:
- Frozen screen
- Lost internet
- Browser crash
- Idle timeout
- Cheating indicator triggered
- Find the student
- Click Resume
- Choose a reason (optional)
- Confirm
CANCEL UNLOCK: Use when you unlocked the test erroneously (i.e., wrong test, student not present) and need to cancel the unlock .
SUSPEND: Use when you need to immediately stop a
test session that is In Progress. Only exams with an In Progress status
can be suspended.
Examples:
- Testing irregularity
- Student must stop for non-technical reasons
- Click the student’s row
- Choose Suspend Exam
- Confirm
RESET PASSWORD: Use when a student, who is already registered, can not remember their password.
- Open the student’s details
- Click Reset Password
- Share the temporary password with the student. They will be asked to set a new password after successfully logging in with the temporary password
