Provisional vs. Non-Provisional Accounts

Provisional Account:
When an administrator creates their own account on the BrightShift platform that account will begin in a provisional status. This means that the account is able to be accessed and set up, but is not yet approved or finalized by BrightShift. In this status, administrators will not have the ability to purchase credits yet.
Non-Provisional Account:
Once a self-made account is finalized and approved by BrightShift, that account will become Non-Provisional. This means that the users now have full access to all of BrightShift’s tools and can begin to purchase and assign credits.
Why Is There A Distinction?
BrightShift takes pride in its value of data privacy and security. To ensure our customers the highest level of security, our team individually approves each and every school to ensure that only those who should be accessing our content have that ability. This prevents issues like cheating, fraud or duplicate school accounts.
