While students are testing, the system's cheating indicator will monitor and capture any actions that trigger the indicator. If the student receives an alert that they have been flagged for cheating, their test is paused and they are taken to the log in screen. Proctors will have to resume their test in order to finish the exam.

When the proctor goes to the student's name on their roster, there will be an indicator next to their name and the student will have the indicator on their dashboard too.

Student:

The proctor can click on the student's info bar to open the details of the exam and see all the behaviors that led to the test being paused.

When you click on the student's info bar, there are 3 sections of information

The first is the test and student information. Here you'll see the student information and the date, time, status, etc., of the test.

The second section is the Cheating Monitor and it will detail all the actions such as:

  • Left the exam window: the student clicked on another window, minimized the testing window, or opened another window.
  • Moved the browser to another monitor: this means the window was moved, resized, or repositioned.
  • Browser closed by student: this means that after the student launched their test, they closed the browser window.

Finally, the What Happened section will break down the times the test started, closed, restarted, and timed out.
