The system is designed to detect behaviors that may indicate cheating during a test session. While these actions do not automatically mean a student is cheating, they can be associated with testing violations. To help maintain test integrity, the system monitors for these behaviors and may automatically close the exam if they are detected. Before starting the test, students are informed which actions to avoid and will receive a notification if the system detects one of these behaviors and closes the session. Instructors will also receive a notification that the cheating indicator was triggered. You can view the full list of detected behaviors here: Cheating Indicator
Tests may also close due to inactivity. If no interaction is detected for 2 minutes, the system will alert the student that they have been idle. If the student does not respond by clicking “Continue Testing,” the session will close and a proctor will need to restart the exam. More information about the idle timer can be found here: Idle Timer
